The Bucks lost their preseason opener against the Minnesota Timberwolves, 117-103. I guess it could’ve been a lot worse. Coach Skiles didn’t really have anything positive to say about the game which was saturated with fouls and bad defense. Skiles praised Warrick for his performance in the game, but that was about it. The Bucks trailed at the half 56-44 and never really picked it up in the second half.
I’m not worried, though, it’s only the very first game of the season. The Bucks have the rest of the month to work out their issues and find their footing. Its good for them to get these kinds of games out of their system so that when the regular season rolls around they will be good to go. At least the rookie got a taste of his first real NBA game!
Tickets for preseason games at the Bradley are on sale now and with the new NBA rule that prohibits players from standing while on the bench, you might actually get to see the game from your seats! The Packers have their bye week this week so why not go to Green Bay to see the Bucks play the Bulls at the Resch Center? Otherwise you can enjoy the Bucks in the comfort of the Bradley Center when they play the Timberwolves October 17th and the Pistons on the 23rd.
