Milwaukee Bucks Return to .500

Last night at the Bradley Center during a lake effect snow storm, our Milwaukee Bucks defeated the New Orleans Hornets, 115-95. Andrew Bogut led the way with 26 points, 13 rebounds and his fourth consecutive double-double. Recently acquired John Salmons scored in the double digits, something he has been doing ever since trade from the Chicago Bulls.

The Bucks’ latest win places them at .500 after the all-star break, something they haven’t achieved since the 2005-2006 season. The same season the Bucks made it to the playoffs. Currently the Bucks are tied for 7th in the Eastern Conference. That’s what I’m talking about! The Bucks are at a turning point in the season and they appear to be heeding the call. It kind of reminds me of the Packers this season after they lost to Tampa Bay this season. They were 4-4 and knew they needed to get their act together and they ended up capturing a Wild Card seed. Will the Bucks follow suit and secure a playoff seed? Better get a ticket to the next Marquette home game at the Bradley Center to find out!
