Free Agent Point Guard Earl Boykins Signs One Year Contract with Milwaukee Bucks
Former Milwaukee Buck and veteran NBA player Earl Boykins signed a one year, $1.3 million contract with the Milwaukee Bucks for the Milwaukee Bucks 2010-2011 season. The free agent point guard, who played last season with the Washington Wizards, had other offers, but ultimately chose the Milwaukee Bucks because he believed it would be the best fit for him. Boykins previously played with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2007. The five-foot-five, 34-year-old point guard will play backup for Brandon Jennings. This will be a key position as the Milwaukee Bucks lost Luke Ridnour due to free agency. As a Washington Wizard, Boykins was one of the fans' favorite players and he looks forward to returning to Milwaukee especially in light of their recent successes! Boykins also played basketball for season in Italy with teammate Brandon Jennings. What a coincidence! It'll be exciting to what Boykins contributes to the Milwaukee Bucks the second time around.
