This Thursday, June 24th, the Milwaukee Bucks will partake in the 2010 NBA draft. In anticipation of the upcoming draft, the Milwaukee Bucks have been holding pre-draft workouts at their training facility for potential players. With a 15th pick, the Milwaukee Bucks are looking to score big in the NBA draft. However, it has been difficult to determine who might still be available by the 15th pick. The Milwaukee Bucks need a shooting guard and forward and hopefully these needs can be addressed with their first round pick.
There are several players in which the Milwaukee Bucks have expressed and they have been across the board in terms of when they are expected to be picked in the draft. Most recently, Kansas guard Xavier Henry has worked out with the Milwaukee Bucks and had an impressive showing. Henry could still be around by the 15th pick and he might just be what the Milwaukee Bucks are looking forever. Other prospects include Cincinnati forward Lance Stephenson and Marshall center Hassan Whiteside.
In addition to the 15th round pick, the Milwaukee Bucks have two second round draft picks. Whatever happens, I hope that the Milwaukee Bucks can score big during the 2010 NBA Draft. I really hope their 15th pick brings in another Brandon Jennings instead of a Joe Alexander. Hopefully, the draft will allow the Milwaukee Bucks to top off their already strong roster and create a team that will make another serious play off run. Fear the deer!

As I sit and watch the Boston Celtics take on the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Finals, I cannot help but wonder what would have happened to the Milwaukee Bucks if Andrew Bogut had stayed healthy for the duration of the season. Would the Milwaukee Bucks have defeated the Atlanta Hawks and then the Boston Celtics? In mid-March, the Milwaukee Bucks played the Boston Celtics at the Bradley Center and ended up winning. This Boston Celtics team had all of the players healthy and playing well. I know it's not good to focus on the past, but I cannot help but think about how well the Milwaukee Bucks played this year and how close they came to NBA Championship glory. During the 2010-2011 Milwaukee Bucks season, when Andrew Bogut returns, I think our Milwaukee Bucks will have a season for the ages.
Speaking of Andrew Bogut, it appears that his arm is feeling better. In a recent article, Milwaukee Bucks Center Andrew Bogut mentioned that he has full range of motion in his wrist. His elbow is what's still hurting him. While he recuperates his injury, Andrew Bogut will also be working on cars with his father in his native Australia. What a guy!

During their latest round of pre-draft workouts, the Milwaukee Bucks hosted former UWM star, guard Ricky Franklin. Franklin was in for a treat as he found the Milwaukee Bucks' training regimen to be a little more rigorous than he was used to. Even though Franklin is in good basketball shape from his UWM days, training with a professional basketball team is hard work! Apparently Franklin's calves started cramping up toward the end of the workout. According to the Milwaukee Bucks' scouting director, making the leap from college to professional basketball is bigger than you might expect. College players are not used to the faster pace of the professional basketball game as well as the larger size of other players. The Milwaukee Bucks will continue to hold pre-draft workouts until the draft towards the end of June. It will be interesting to see what the 2010 draft has in store for the 2010-2011 Milwaukee Bucks!
