Bradley Center, Home of the Milwaukee Bucks, Given New Name

The Bradley Center, home of the Milwaukee Bucks, has been given a new name after it was announced that the naming rights were sold to BMO Harris Bank. Several other private companies in the Milwaukee area have committed to providing sponsorships for the newly named BMO Harris Bradley Center. These sponsorships will provide $18 million over the next 6 years.

These sponsorships are a step in the right direction in keeping the Milwaukee Bucks in Milwaukee and giving them a better home that is up to NBA standards. The money will allow the Bradley Center to undergo much needed maintenance while the community decides what to do in the long run. Ultimately, the Bradley Center will need to be replaced so that the Milwaukee Bucks have a facility that is up to NBA standards. In addition, an updated arena will allow Milwaukee to attract bigger name concerts, which brings more money into the city. These changes to the Bradley Center are hopefully the first of many to follow.
